Sports Arbitraging 101

If you’ve never heard of the term from the title above, don’t fret, for I’m about to give all of you some very easy-to-understand visual examples, below.

In the tweet(s) below, I was referring to the Western Michigan @ Notre Dame College Basketball game. And as you’ll soon see, we initially bet the Under-147.5, and then (in the 2nd tweet below), we wagered on the Over-132.5 — and won both wagers. However, I gave out a Halftime recommendation on the Ov-73.5 for the 2nd Half. So, in the end, we went (2–1) inside of one particular game from last night.

I’d say that, since the advent of Live Betting (at most major Online books), I’ve connected on at least 70% of my wagers. And, that, is more than good enough to make a living with sports betting/arbitraging!

The truth is, if you know how to work a calculator and love Over/Under betting, then, you can make more money through Sports Arbitraging than however much you make at your current job (assuming you make under 80K a year), Truth!

The math is really quite rudimentary: Let’s say 8-minutes have passed in the 1st Half of a CBB game and the score is (24–20). 44/8 = 5.5PPM (Points Per Minute) — and now we’ll say the posted pre-tip total was 165. 5.5*40 = 220, and said game is on a pace to go Over by 55pts!!!

That ‘Pace’ is highly unlikely to continue and some NSR (Natural State of Regression) will kick in. The algorithms at the Sportsbook(s) are acutely aware of this and the likely re-adjusted total (from the initial 165) will only be about 10pts higher. This, is, most likely a ‘Trap’ and they want you to bet the Over-175, because, they’re assuming they you already know the current pace is 220.

I’m more than happy (for a small nominal fee) to share with you all the ‘Secrets’ to properly interpreting the movements. The cost, and a 15–20 minute phone and/or I-M conversation is a one-time fee of $89.00. Below is the link to buy. And, if you’ve paid for any of my products or services in the past, then, the cost is only $69.00.

Don’t think for a minute that centered within some ‘context clues’ you don’t need to pay, just by reading this post. This is an artform, and just like a stockbroker reads a ticker, you, have to do the same! Look at the two screenshots below?!

The pre-tip total on this contest was 137.5 (and ND-21.5 was the line), and just seconds before Halftime these were the books’ re-adjusted lines. 67+67, is only a 134 pace, yet the total was 2-points higher than the original. Why?

Because, a standard +10% is typically added to a 2nd Half in College Hoops. 67*(10%) = 74…..74+67 = 141. In the final screenshot you’ll soon see where their Algo leaves the proverbial ‘Door Wide Open’ for us ‘Sharpies’ to take advantage of!

As one can plainly see, 5-minutes into the 2nd Half, only (12) points were scored and they lowered the total by 5pts. 25-minutes in; 79pts, which equates to 79/25 = 3.16PPM * 40 = A (126) Pace! So, a minute later when it went even lower (132.5), we bet the Over-132.5 which (due to the hook(s) in our favor) gave us a 16pts ‘Middle’ — from our original Under-147.5 wager. A 51% Middle looks like this, mathematically: (16*3)+3.0 = 48%+3% is 51% chance that we would win both ways — which we indeed do! The final was (85–52), or, (137).
